Traci Tague
Owner and Director of Ravinia Reading Center

Traci Tague, M.A. CCC-SLP, is the dedicated Owner and Director of Ravinia Reading Center in both Lincoln Park, Northbrook, and Oak Park. With a background rooted in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Traci began her career at top Chicagoland hospitals, helping patients overcome communication and swallowing challenges from traumatic brain injuries and diseases. During this time, she honed her skills in evidence-based practice, communication, and holistic treatment, but she always felt there was something more awaiting her.
After having two children of her own (now four!), Traci’s passion for child development and her love for reading ignited a new path, leading her to Ravinia Reading Center and its founder, Dr. Holly Shapiro. This career shift felt like her true calling. Now, as director, she’s deeply committed to helping children and families, fostering a love of reading, and guiding students to success through Ravinia’s proven programs.
Her passion ultimately led to the opening of Ravinia Reading Center’s Lincoln Park location, with the goal of offering the same expertise, curriculum, and personalized approach to students and families across the city. Traci remains devoted to ensuring that every child who walks through the center’s doors receives the tailored support they need to thrive.
