Tuition Costs

After a few initial lessons, we ask that students enroll in the clinic for a minimum of two lessons each week. This frequency of instruction allows us to make meaningful progress. Reading lessons are billed on a monthly tuition basis. Tuition varies from month to month depending on the calendar, and will generally range from $588 (six lessons) to $784 (eight lessons). This breaks down to a cost of $98 per lesson.

Credit Card Payments

For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. We can keep your card on file. Just call us at 847.433.5878 to setup monthly credit card payments.

Absences & Make Up Policy

If you anticipate an absence, do let us know 48 hours in advance. Otherwise you will be charged for the full amount, without receiving credit for a make-up lesson. While as much advanced notice as possible is always appreciated, we also realize that small emergencies will come up. In the event your child is ill, for example, just let us know as soon as you can and you will still receive a make-up credit.

With advanced notice, we will charge you for your regular lesson as a part of the tuition bill, but you will receive a make-up credit, which may be used within one year. This policy allows us to keep our speech-language pathologists fully scheduled, keeping costs down for children who need their lessons most.

During summer-months, lessons missed due to camp, planned vacations or the road-trip to Grandma's will not be charged as long as our office is notified by May 1.

Schedule a Make Up Lesson

To schedule a make-up lesson, review the list of available times on our Center Calendar. We are only able to offer make-up lessons during these available times, with available teachers. Find the time you want, send your request to makeups@raviniareadingcenter.com, and wait for email confirmation. The list of available make-up times is updated frequently, so check in as often as you like. Make-up lessons can be with your child's regular teacher, but do not have to be.

Make-up times are first come, first serve. We are unable to guarantee that the make-up lessons available will work with your child's schedule.
